WYOMING – A Big Piney native gave the Eastern Wyoming College chapter of SkillsUSA a huge boost during the Welding Fabrication Competition held in Casper earlier this month.

Trent Taylor won the individual metal fabrication category for his welding skills. He led a group of other EWC students, who finished the season with five different individuals honored at the event.

“These students competed, and represented the EWC welding program well,” EWC Stan Nicolls, SkillsUSA sponsor, said. “I am extremely proud of our students; they worked exceptionally hard and accomplished a great deal of success.”
