CASPER – Eight students from Big Piney High School competed at the state SkillsUSA competition hosted by Casper on April 15-17. SkillsUSA is a national organization promoting career and technical education and skills with competitions across America.

Sophomore Blade Hibbert won the manual machining category at the event.

The Puncher SkillsUSA team included Brayden Bennett, Damon Blair, Blade Hibbert, Jakobi Hibbert, Hampton Jones, Owen Neilson, Vanessa Silva and Wiley smith.

The team is led by BPHS career and technical education teacher Brent Hibbert.
