Hospital District creates naming contest

SUBLETTE COUNTY – The Sublette County Hospital District announced a new naming competition while it awaits a decision from the USDA regarding its loan for a critical access hospital.

Employees from both the Hospital District and Sublette Center were asked to submit suggestions for what the new hospital should be named. The Joint Planning Committee, consisting of Hospital District and Sublette Center board members, suggested four options.

The four names suggested were: Sublette County Health, Mountainside Health, Sublette County Wellness Complex and Mountain Air Healthcare.

The public is now invited to vote on their favorite name.

“This is a truly historic moment for Sublette County,” Kari DeWitt, public relations director for the Hospital District, said. “We hope the public will have fun being a part of the process naming this facility.”

Those interested can vote by going to www.surveymonkey.com/r/PDS7H7D.

Hospital District board member Dave Bell has donated a large photography print for the employee who suggested the winning name.
