County awarded $60k in WCF grants
SUBLETTE COUNTY – The Wyoming Community Foundation awarded the Sublette Local Advisory Board $60,067 to causes that serve the residents of Sublette County.
One grantee, the Sublette County Sexual Assault and Family Violence Task Force, provides direct service to community members through advocacy and prevention. Other grantees include the Children’s Discovery Center, Main Street Pinedale and Hunting with Heroes.
“It is always gratifying to see the work that Wyoming nonprofits are doing to build stronger communities,” Micah Richardson, director of programs and communications, said. “We are honored to play a role in supporting their efforts.”
The funds that support these projects rely on support from statewide donors. Funds are held by the Foundation and invested, ensuring ongoing returns to support charitable causes in the long term.
