MARBLETON — Inductions of eight individuals into the Big Piney Hall of Fame are being finalized. Several lifelong residents will receive the Distinguished Alumni award and four former Big Piney athletes will also be honored.
The 2023 ceremony will take place in conjunction with the Big Piney High School Homecoming festivities on Saturday, September 16. The Southwest Sublette County Pioneer Senior Center in Marbleton will again host the event, with a reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner.
The public is invited. Past recipients of Hall of Fame honors are urged to attend the dinner and ceremony to welcome this year’s new inductees.

Four past Big Piney athletes will also be inducted into the Hall of Fame for their achievements. State champions Nick Smith and Karl Porter will be joined by multi-sport All-State athletes Jodi (Eskelsen) Druckenmiller and Casey Knotts.
