Ruth Hendricks was born in Midwest on March 10, 1931, to Charles and Sarah Bates. She entered into eternal rest on June 16 in Jackson. She was married to Andrew Hendricks on Feb. 15, 1951, in Farmington, N.M. They resided there for some time
before moving to Big Piney, where they made their home and raised their family.
Ruth was employed by Sublette County School District No. 9 as a cook, where she retired from after many years. She was an active member of the Episcopal Church in Big Piney and enjoyed spending her free time crocheting, reading and watching
Ruth is survived by her sons, Tom (Janice) and Curt (Lori); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Michael) Petty, Bryan, Curtis, Jodi (Steve) Kipp and Cody (Danielle Hunt); and her great grandchildren, Justice, Andrew, Jadon and Aaron. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters and her great-grandson William James Kipp.
Services will be held at the Plainview Cemetery on June 27 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
