PINEDALE Ė The Sublette County Rural Health Care District (RHCD) is partnering with St. Johnís Medical Center in Jackson Hole to bring home health and hospice back to the county.
While the arrangement is still being finalized, Karen Connelly, director of marketing and community relations at St. Johnís, said the goal is to begin offering the services this summer.
ďSt. Johnís is currently putting together a plan that proposes expanding home health and hospice into Sublette County,Ē Connelly said. ďThe administrations of both organizations think there are a lot of merits to this option.Ē
Sublette County has been without home health and hospice programs since last year, when the Sublette Center ceased offering the services.
Home health is a program that provides medical services in a patientís home Ė often as a continuation of care following a hospital stay for an injury or illness.
