Lady Puncher defense shines over weekend

WYOMING – The Big Piney High School Lady Punchers basketball team traveled all over last week, facing off against the Cokeville Panthers on Thursday at home, then traveling to Shoshoni on Saturday to battle the Chiefs and ending the weekend Saturday at Thermopolis against the Bobcats.

Unfortunately, the Lady Punchers did not emerge with a single win, losing to Cokeville, 34-49, Shoshoni, 22-55, and Thermopolis, 21-33. Despite the losses, head coach Jennie Kozeal believed the girls played well in some aspects.
