PINEDALE – Just months after opening a compressed natural gas (CNG) station to serve new school buses and the public, the Pinedale school district faces a lawsuit filed by the Colorado Wyoming Petroleum Marketers Association (CWPMA).
According to a CWPMA release, the association is suing the district to prevent it using tax-subsidized facilities to sell retail CNG.
The suit also sues the Wyoming Transportation Department (WYDOT) for issuing the permit for Sublette County School District No. 1 (SCSD#1) to sell retail CNG.
