Pint-sized pummelers work in the community

The Pinedale Pummelers cleaned golf clubs at the recent tournament.
PINEDALE – The Pinedale Pummelers Wrestling Club has been out and about giving back to the community that sponsors the young athletes. In recent weeks, young wrestlers cleaned up the old trailer park behind Sugar Shack, working hard and raising money for their club. It’s always good to see kids work hard for something they

believe in.

This past weekend, the pummelers washed clubs and sold raffle tickets for a putter at the local Buc Boudreaux Memorial Tournament at Rendezvous Meadows Golf Course. The kids worked hard and had a great time.

The young athletes’ fundraising efforts were made possible by Mike McClain, who donated the putter, Rendezvous Meadows Golf Course, Jeremy Christensen, Beth Boudreaux and all of those golfing. The Pummelers’ work on the old trailer park was supported by Pinedale Traders Row, M&M Transfer, Bruce Kerback and Pinedale Rental.
