Senior Puncher wrestler Brown takes 3rd at State

BIG PINEY – Big Piney Puncher senior Bonner Brown capped off a record-setting high school wrestling career with a third-place finish at the 2A State High School Wrestling Tournament. Brown became the fifth Puncher in the school’s history to place at State all four years as a varsity wrestler. Though he had wrestled only seven matches prior to the tournament due to injury, Brown took a hard line through the competition, losing only to the state champion and winning third place in a 5-4 decision.
