Duke Roger Clark, 52, of Boulder, passed away Aug. 21 at the Sublette Center in Pinedale. Duke was born Sept. 11, 1960, in Dallas to Bill and Lynn Clark. He finished grammar school in San Diego and completed high school in Lancaster, Calif.
Duke moved to Pinedale after high school. He worked in structural logging, ranching-wrangler, construction and in the oil field driving water and oil trucks and as a roughneck and driller. Duke married Karen Lynn Fuchs on Aug. 5, 2008 in Jackson. Duke enjoyed the mountains and being outdoors amongst the wildlife of Sublette County and gathering firewood for winter. He attended and received great inspiration worshipping his lord and savior Jesus Christ at the Pinedale Bible Church.
Duke is survived by his wife Karen; father Bill Clark; children of a previous marriage Luke, Christian and Lantana Clark; brothers Wayne and Gordon Clark; and sisters Marna Lainoff and Dianna French.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; mother Lynn Clark and brother Mark Clark.
A funeral service was Aug. 26 at the Pinedale Bible Church.
