Myles M. McGinnis, 63, passed away on Nov. 17, 2012, from injuries sustained in an airplane accident in Sublette County, Wyoming.
He was born on May 26, 1949, in Kemmerer, Wyo., the son of Aaron Hanson and Caroline (Botto) McGinnis. He married Corby E. Sweeting on June 26, 1976, in Kemmerer, Wyo.
Myles loved flying. He also enjoyed ranching, his Hereford cattle, blue heeler dogs and spending time with his family. He graduated from Montana State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science in 1972. He was a member of the Green River Valley Cattleman's Association and also the Wyoming Stock Growers Association.
He is survived by his wife Corby McGinnis of Kemmerer, daughter Audra (Dave) Rouge, of Laramie, Wyo., and son Michael (Rachel) McGinnis, of Kemmerer. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Morgan and Trayven Rouge, and two special aunts, Mary Nell McGinnis of Sequim, Wash.; and Helen Delich Bentley, of Lutherville, Md. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Myles is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Sam Delich.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ball Family Chapel. Kemmerer, Wyo. Memorial services to celebrate his life will be conducted on May 26, 2013, at the family ranch.
A memorial fund has been established at First Bank, and donations will be accepted at any First Bank Branch location, or memorial donations may also be made to the Lincoln County Search and Rescue or to the Tip Top Search and Rescue Teams.For the complete article see the 12-04-2012 issue.
