He was blessed by God and was also tempered by the hard things life had to offer. He was a sober member of Alcoholics Anonymous for the last 20 years. Richey was married three times, first to his wife Cindy, to whom his first three children were born, Kimberly, Amy and Dale. Then following a divorce he married Linda, with whom he was blessed with another daughter, Marie. Lastly he was married to his late wife Jeannie. He was a loved father, grandfather, husband and brother. He was a man and brother who always had time to help anyone. He was a gifted carpenter and welder that could craft anything you could imagine. Richey saw value and potential in things that most people would cast away. He had a genuine love for the mountains and everything nature had to offer.
