Dylan Emmett Cackler, 19, passed away, Oct. 1, 2012 in Montello, Nevada.
He was a kindhearted gentle young man who is now in the arms of his Savior and Father whom he loved and served. Dylan was born March 14, 1993, in Rock Springs, Wyo., to Mike and Teresa Cackler. As a child Dylan lived in Green River until he and his family moved to Pinedale in 2003. He graduated from Cackler Christian School in 2011. In one way or another, he touched the lives of all who knew him. He had a heart for children and enjoyed the time he spent helping with children’s ministries at Pinedale Bible Church where he attended.
He himself trusted Christ as Savior at Casper Mountain Bible Camp in 2002. His friends were countless, those who shared in his favorite hobbies such as snowboarding, hunting or just hanging out. All who knew him knew his passion was elk hunting, which he shared with his father. He liked being outdoors and was a talented sportsman in 4-H shooting sports. He was also a gifted artist, a talent he shared with his mom. In all reality there are not enough words to describe Dylan’s amazing brief life. He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts as he rests in the arms of Jesus.
Dylan is survived by his mother and father and sister Hannah of Pinedale, Wyo.; brother Dallas, niece TyLar and nephews Taison and Tucker of Ogden, Utah; Larry and Kay Cackler, Don and Sue Powell of Parsons, Kan.; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service was held Saturday, Oct. 6 at 11 a.m. at the Pinedale Bible Church. Interment followed the services at the Pinedale Cemetery.
