PINEDALE – Pinedale hotels and businesses are reporting slightly higher numbers in guest stays during Rendezvous weekend than last year.
Both larger chain hotels, as well as small, local lodging in Pinedale reported either a narrow increase in stays or a guest total right on par with last year’s numbers.
Octavian Dumiterscu, general manger of the Hampton Inn and Suites, reported his hotel was booked to capacity on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. He said, though he wasn’t booked solid on Sunday evening, his rooms were still fairly full, and the total number of weekend guests was equivalent to last year’s Rendezvous.
Dorian Ciolek, general manger of the Baymont Inn and Suites, said his numbers were very similar to last year’s weekend, as well. His hotel was completely reserved on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and almost full on Sunday.
Log Cabin Motel co-owner Sofia Wakefield also said her lodge was booked solid Thursday through Sunday. She added she received so many requests for a room, she could have booked all of her cabins twice.
