PINDALE – One of the most dangerous and most commonly abused drug forms, misused or abused prescription drugs, is virtually at the fingertips of teens and adult users in communities across the U.S. Prescription drug abuse is a rapidly growing problem, prompting Sublette County to take preventative measures against the dangerous trend.
Saturday, April 27, the Pinedale and Marbleton-Big Piney medical clinics participated in a drug take-back day, encouraging residents to return any unused or unwanted prescriptions to keep them from potentially falling into the wrong hands. The event was cosponsored by the Sublette County Prevention Coalition and Community Prevention Professional Ranae Pape.
