INEDALE – After two years occupying the principal’s office at Pinedale High School (PHS), Fletcher Turcato will start the 2013-14 school year as superintendent of Carbon County School District (CCSD) No. 1 in Rawlins. Calling it the opportunity of a lifetime, Turcato admitted to being a bundle of nerves Monday, his first day at PHS since the news officially broke.
On the surface, though, nothing has changed. He’s got kids waiting in his office after he spends the first 10 minutes of the day bouncing around hallways, sweeping up stragglers and wishing everyone a boisterous morning.
