Rio Verde wins ball-field contract

PINEDALE – In 2013, local soccer and baseball enthusiasts will have more outdoor space to pursue their sports, thanks to a Pinedale ball field expansion project that will begin in the spring.

At their regular meeting Monday, Pinedale Town Council awarded a ball field expansion contract to Rio Verde Engineering for the amount of $280,000. The expansion will consist of a new little league baseball and soccer field to the east of the existing fields at the Pinedale Ball Field on Fremont Lake Road.
